If your goal is to learn self defense, judo, which is good, but not the battle position, judo focuses mainly on the ground the whole time with sticks, presentations and pens. The best thing to do is to enter a class and see if it meets your expectations, continue to complement and judo and boxing and kickboxing in addition to the state to fight against a party. It also depends on what the martial arts schools and styles that you can visit in your area, and the classes and see what fits what you are looking for. Judo focuses too much on fitness as you get a lot from him. But Judo is a sport that today, and rare to see any kind of defense against knife or road situations.

"I feel that there is no art, to better prepare someone to the arbitrariness of the struggle and the lives of Judo"

The full interview is on the next page.
